Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Policy
Effective date: 19 May, 2025
We believe in building trusted, long-term relationships with our clients. As part of our commitment to transparency, ethical practices, and legal compliance, we apply a Customer Due Diligence (CDD) process for all custom and enterprise-level projects.
This policy helps ensure a safe and reliable business environment for both our team and our clients. While flexibility may be offered for smaller projects, we reserve the right to request information when necessary to safeguard our operations.
1. What is Customer Due Diligence?
Customer Due Diligence (CDD) is a verification process that helps us confirm the identity, legitimacy, and ethical standing of businesses we engage with. It helps prevent fraud, money laundering, and reputational risks.
2. Information We May Request
To establish your identity and business legitimacy, we may ask for:
– Full name of the individual representing the business
– Company name and registered address
– Contact number and email address
– A valid form of ID (passport or government-issued ID)
– Business registration documents (e.g., certificate of incorporation)
3. Verification Process
We may verify submitted documents through public databases, direct checks with issuing authorities, or background research to confirm business activity and legitimacy.
4. Business and Risk Assessment
To better understand the nature of your project, we may request additional details such as:
– A brief description of your business and services
– Intended use of our digital solutions
– Key personnel or beneficial owners involved
– Potential reputational or ethical concerns (if applicable)
Clients in high-risk industries or jurisdictions may be subject to enhanced due diligence.
5. Ethics and Refusal of Service
We assess each client’s alignment with our ethical standards. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service if we believe the engagement presents ethical, reputational, or legal risks.
6. Privacy and Confidentiality
All personal and business data collected during this process is handled in strict confidence, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We collect only what is necessary and retain records for a minimum of five (5) years following the end of our business relationship.
7. Continuous Monitoring
We may periodically request updated information to ensure our records remain accurate throughout our engagement.
8. Acceptance of Policy
By engaging with our custom or enterprise services, you acknowledge and accept our Customer Due Diligence Policy. You also agree to provide the necessary information for verification if requested.
